SUMMER IN ALASKA Summer is here and the runs of King Salmon and Sockeye Salmon are in good numbers. The Kenai has been producing lots of Kings and on June 21st ADF+G opened the use of bait making it a lot easier to lure that Big King into biting! The Kasilof River is producing many large Kings, one reported of 62-68 lbs. Most are 20-40 lbs. Sockeye Salmon are making a big early showing on both the Kenai and Kasilof Rivers many anglers getting limits and its just starting. Trout Fishing is Great with fast action for everyone and big fish with the beautiful Kenai River and Bald Eagles along the banks. The Alaska summer is beautiful, Wild Flowers, Wild Roses and Moose with Calves as well as Great Fishing make for long sunny days with time to explore. GET OUT and ENJOY ALASKA !!
