Fishtales Guide . Com  is owned and operated by Tom and Louanne Stanton. This Husband and Wife Team operate a truly Mom and Pop Business based in the City of Kenai, Alaska. Located 150 Miles south of Anchorage on the Kenai Peninsula, this is where the World Famous Kenai River meets Alaska's Cook Inlet.

Charter Captain Tom Stanton has been a Full Time Outfitter-Guide since  1983.

Guiding Year Around for 30 years in Three  States has provided Tom with a wealth of extensive Outfitter-Guiding experience.Tom has provided Thousands of Anglers from every corner of the World with sucessful trips for
 King Salmon,  Silver Salmon,  Sockeye Salmon,  Pink Salmon and Steelhead,  Rainbow Trout,  Lake Trout   and  Dolly Varden  Char.

As well as Guiding for Striped Bass,  American Shad,  Brown Trout , Largemouth Bass, Smallmouth Bass , Spotted Bass, and White And Green Sturgeon in both Large and Small Rivers and many Lakes.

These waters include The  World  Famous  KENAI  RIVER       (The WORLD RECORD KING SALMON WAS CAUGHT HERE 97 lbs 4 oz)  and Kasilof River of Alaska.  The Rogue, Chetco and Elk Rivers of Oregon.
  And the Trinity, Klamath, Eel, Feather and Sacramento Rivers of Northern California.

Tom holds a U.S. Coast Guard  Masters License  that allows Tom to run Salt Water Charters
 for King Salmon, Silver Salmon and Giant Pacific Halibut in ALASKA'S  Cook Inlet.

Tom is also Certified in C.P.R.and First Aid, Holds Outfitter-Guide Licenses for Alaska and Oregon,and operates under permits from Alaska State Parks and Kenai National Wildlife Refuge.
